The CAIRNS MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB INC would like to thank all of the members and supporters who turned out on Wed 22nd January for our AGM
Up for nomination this year we had the positions of Vice President and Treasurer.
Vice President
Congratulations and thank you to Michelle Wood for stepping into the VP role. Your ongoing help will be immensely appreciated in this new role.
Treasurer
Also a huge thank you to Barb Meade our long standing treasurer continuing in 2025 which marks over 20 years of service to the club committee.
General Committee
We have one returning committee member in Adam Gowlett as well as 3 new keen committee members entering this year – Nathan Weiss, Barb McGill and Nigel Ellis.
We extend a huge thank you to our events co-ordinator Larry Lanza who has made the decision to step down from the committee this year. Larry has been instrumental in raising the bar of professionalism of our club events. Over the years donating copious amounts of prizes, donations fostered young talent and harnessed the enthusiasm of the Enduro and DH crew. We also would like to thank you for all your time and energy in 2024 for arranging, setting up our kitchen and clubhouse at the trailhead with a big thank you to Mick Evans from Pacific kitchens.
