Please arrive between 7:00am and 7:30am.
A briefing will be held around 7:45am, then we’ll roll out at 8:00am.
We will be aiming to wrap up on the trails at 12:00/12:30pm, being back at the tent at 12:30/1:00pm for BBQ lunch (sausage sizzle) and cold refreshments.

Where to Go:

A map has been created showing where to meet. Due to the Crankworx site being closed for event preparations, we will need to access the World Cup Bridge via the Ring Road.

This is accessed via the normal route through JCU, however, turn left before the World Cup Site.
Follow this road, turn right onto the Ring Road and follow this toward the World Cup Bridge.
Please park along the side of the ring road. Please keep the ring road clear for riders and people on foot to get through.

What to Bring:

  • Water
  • Sturdy Footwear
  • Protective clothing
  • Sun protection
  • Hand protection

We are expecting a big turn out and tools supplied by Specialized, World Trail and the Cairns Mountain Bike Club may not go around to everyone. We kindly ask if you could bring your own tools so we can ensure everyone can pitch in. What to bring – shovel, leaf rake, needle rake and/or pick. We will not be using any motorised equipment, everything will be hand work.
