WOMENS COME & TRY SOCIAL ENDURO Join us for a fun filled ride where the downs happen to be timed 😎

With a focus on fun and race participation we will all ride together and self seed for starting segments. Leaving a gap for timing between riders as required. With only the downhill sections timed you don’t have to be super ride fit, just fit enough and practiced on these stages.
It’s recommended that you wear full gloves, knee pads/ elbows covered (long sleeves) and a full face helmet.
Note : ( full face not mandatory if you can’t get one in time, but highly recommended for safety)
Race day will finish with a party, sausage sizzle and presentation of prizes thanks to Discovery Cycles for the podiums and lucky entry prizes if you race! So come and join in the fun, and bring your mates to spectate.

Race Stage Layout: As follows
STAGE 1 – CUSS CUSS
Starting on the shuttle road Riders will ride the full trail from top to bottom, to finish on the flat at the old event site
STAGE 2 – NEW TRACK OFF REDBELLY CLIMB
Starting off the very top of the red belly climb( intermediate jump track start) there is a new track that goes down to flat snake – Riders will start at the top and ride all the way down to the flat snake/redbelly junction
STAGE 3 – PINES
Starting half way up the red belly climb ( beginners jump track start) Riders will drop in and take the right hand track and ride all the way out to the carpark via the big rock
Course inspection: A course inspection will be completed by the event organisers 1-2 weeks prior to the event. During this inspection the organisers will have to identify any issues or improvements that require attention and then with the Cairns MTB Clubs’ approval have them rectified before the start of the event, if necessary to do so.
Event management will take place on the day from the Cairns MTB Club House on McGregor Road, across from A.J.Hackett Bungie Tower. Parking for all competitors is directly adjacent from the Club House and toilet facilities are also from the club house. Soft drinks and BBQ will be available after the event at the clubhouse.
Entered & can’t make it? An automated refund is available using the EntryBoss’ Scratching mechanism. Please note the scratching cut-off because non-attendance refunds after this time are at the discretion of the event organisers and may require a medical certificate.
- Riders will receive 100% refunds if the event is cancelled.
- We will do our best to communicate our intentions early if the event is at risk of not proceeding.
