After a month or two in waiting…. the trail has been delivered!
NATIONALS / STINGERS track has a long history in Smithfield MTB park.
Contour works have done a full top to bottom refurbishment of this trail which was in disrepair after our weather events following cyclone jasper.
REMEMBER – TRAIL FEATURES MAY HAVE CHANGED, ALWAYS DO A SIGHTING RUN BEFORE RIDING AT PACE.
For this trail to holdup in the next few months we will need tyres on it THIS WEEKEND! So get out there and roll it in nicely – this means no schralping& ripping up berms, no crazy lines,
ROLL IT IN- and it will hold up in good condition – ready to be baked in this fierce sun we’re getting at the moment.
The moisture is still high but the berms are loose so we might call another dig day soon to tidy any disruption from this first weekend.
