The first Women’s Enduro Series wrapped up today with Round 3 providing a different take for the familiar faces & newcomers to the series.
The girls were given 4 attempts at the new Cuss Cuss Long trail to lay down their best time, giving the opportunity to learn, progress and better their skills and abilities down the new, fun & flowey descent.
In the end, it was Cassie Abell taking the overall win with an impressive 3 second lead over Annalise Chester. Of course, a big congratulations to all riders for getting in and having a go at this new series. We hope it attracts even more newcomers for 2019 looking for a challenge but who are not yet ready to step up to the harder Open Enduro series.
Another huge thanks to all that make these events happen – Discovery Cycles, Cherries for the prizes, the volunteers (even those that didn’t realise that they were volunteering when they turned up) and to all the spectators that line the track to cheer the ladies through the stages!
